Floyd County is a county located in the northwestern part of the U.S. state of Georgia. As of the 2010 United States Census, the population was 96,317. The county seat is Rome.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 518 square miles (1,340 km²), of which 510 square miles (1,300 km²) is land and 8.6 square miles (22 km²) (1.7%) is water.
As of the 2000 United States Census, there were 90,565 people, 34,028 households, and 24,227 families residing in the county. The population density was 176 people per square mile (68/km²). There were 36,615 housing units at an average density of 71 per square mile (28/km²).Cities:
